We’ve built 450,000 affordable homes in this country since 2010. That’s more on average per year than the Labour government did before us from 1997 to 2010.

Notes
True, the Conservatives have built (or converted building to) 450,000 affordable homes. Which is about 7,000 more per year than Labout from ’97 to 2010.
However it doesn’t tell the whole picture. There’s been a shift from “houses for social rent” to “affordable rented homes”, which are more expensive. There have been half as many houses for social rent since 2010.
