Jo Swinson is claiming a little more credit than the Lib Dem’s are due here. Yes they can proudly say they support the rapid development. However it’s only in the last couple of years that offshore wind fell by 30%. And it’s still more expensive than other energy forms, however the cost in offshore is tumbling and is due to be the cheapest. The Lib Dem’s may have helped get the ball rolling.
