WASPI stands for women against state pension inequality. Angela Rayner is referring to increasing the pension age from 60 to 66 (as it my understanding).
To say millions of women have been plunged into poverty is a big exaggeration. For a start there aren’t millions of 60-64 year old women in poverty. It’s likely more women of the age are in poverty as a result but there’s no data, and it’s not millions.
