There’s increasing inequality
This depends how you define it.
The “gini coefficient” is the most common measure and it suggests inequality hasn’t changed much in the last 30 years.
However that overlooks the top 1% who are pulling away from everyone else.
Compared to other countries the UK has the 8th highest in the EU.
