This claim is based on analysis carried out before Boris Johnson’s deal, though they did repeat the anaysis in October 2019.
It’s based on a 6% lower GDP in 2030. Which means the economy would grow 6% slower, meaning that each person would be £1,600 less well off.
But it is dependant on so many factors. For example the amount of welfare spending and individuals persons circumstances.
